Dr. Cord Schlobohm uses the latest technology to create and maintain beautiful and healthy smiles.  We are pleased to offer our patients the following services in a friendly and comfortable environment.

One Visit Crowns, Veneers and other ceramics with CEREC Technology

Oral Appliance Therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea(OSA) and Snoring
Snoring and OSA are common problems that can affect your sleep, health and have significant impact on your quality of life. Dr. Schlobohm is a certified dentist for the SomnoDent oral appliance therapy.

Veneers
If you teeth are chipped, broken, or discolored, porcelain veneers are a great way to change the color and shape of your teeth.  A porcelain veneer is a covering over the tooth that gives natural color and bridges small gaps.  Veneers can be a great alternative to braces for slight orthodontic problems and provide a beautiful smile in a short amount of time.

Bleaching - Teeth Whitening
Dr. Schlobohm uses a variety of innovative teeth whitening techniques to get your teeth their whitest and brightest. Deep bleaching works by restoring your teeth's ability to absorb oxygen. The oxygen from the bleaching gel is absorbed deeply into the tooth, dissolving stain molcules. We offer in-office whitening procedures as well as various home whitening kits that are easy to use and great results are achieved.

Crowns & Bridges
Dr. Schlobohm provides excellent restorative dental care.  If your teeth are damaged or decayed, crowns may be constructed to restore them back to their original form.   If you have missing teeth, a bridge may be utilized.  These restorations are cemented onto the teeth and are referred to as "fixed" dentistry as opposed to a restoration of missing teeth with a removable appliance or partial denture.

Implants
Implants are an increasingly popular alternative to dentures, crowns and bridges. They have many advantages, including their natural appearance, improved comfort and unequaled convenience. If you are considering implants, we can discuss the considerations and help you make the decision that is right for you.

Mini Implants
Mini dental implants are a small miracle in implant dentistry! Thanks to mini-implants, stable secure dentures can be attached to your mini dental implants, enabling you to chew, eat and smile with confidence. Read more about Mini Implants

Bonding
Bonding is covering the front surface of teeth with a composite
to either change the tooth's color or shape, or the rebuild broken teeth.  Bonding is similar to veneers, but not as strong, but it is a low-cost way to improve your smile.  Bonding is great for children who have chipped front teeth and for adults who need an alternative for veneers and understand the limitations.

Invisalign
Invisalign is the "clear" way to straighten your teeth. Invisalign gradually moves your teeth through a series of custom made, removable, nearly invisible Aligners. Thanks to CAD CAM technology, Invisalign is able to transform smiles in months without wires.

Tooth Colored Restorations
Inlays and Onlays are tooth-colored restorations that are used in place of silver fillings on the chewing surfaces of back teeth.  This approach has become very popular due to concern about mercury content in silver fillings (amalgam) and they are less attractive.

Periodontal Treatment
Periodontal(gum) diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, are serious infections that, left untreated, can lead to tooth loss. Recent studies suggest a link between heart disease and periodontal disease. Click here for more information.

Endodontic Treatment
Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic treatment, is a dental procedure in which the diseased or damaged nerve of a tooth is removed so that the tooth can be saved or restored.  Our office utilizes a procedure that is both comfortable and completed in less time than previous methods.

Gum Therapy / Shaping
If the shape or fullness or your gums is a problem, the contours and shape of the gums can be changed to provide a more attractive appearance and protect the teeth.  Using lasers, Dr. Schlobohm can sculpt the gum precisely while minimizing bleeding. In some cases, the laser can also be used where gum disease has occurred.

Dentures/Partials
While we wish no one would ever need dentures, sometimes they are the most reasonable option.  In the past wearing dentures was the only form of dentistry available to improve a person’s smile. When they are indicated we take the time necessary to create attractive, well fitting dentures. They can’t beat a set of your own teeth when they are healthy and straight, but when natural teeth can’t be restored dentures look great and chew well.

If a person has lost too much of their jawbone to steady their dentures, implants can be placed. The dentures are attached to the implants to hold them firmly in place. If you have this problem, call us for a consultation appointment.

Digital Radiographs(X-rays)
Digital radiography is the latest way to take and evaluate radiographs. Digital X-rays require 90% less radiation than conventional dental x-rays. Digital X-rays also produce a large image, which makes it easier for patients to see and understand what is happening to their teeth.

Intraoral Camera
We use small cameras right inside your mouth to take highly magnified digital photos of your teeth. These photos can then be displayed on a computer screen for both patient and doctor. Intra-oral photos allow our patients to view what the dentist sees when they are evaluating your teeth.

Diagnodent
Diagnodent is a major breakthrough that allows Dr. Schlobohm to detect tooth decay that x-rays cannot see.   We can now locate hidden decay in it's earliest stage, and with treatment stop the spread of the disease before it destroys the tooth from within.

Infection Control
Our office is OSHA compliant, and follows the same OSHA sterilization recommendations for hospitals.
