The first time you visit us at Schlobohm Dental, we'll discuss your health history, past dental experiences, and any anxieties you may have about dental care. To help us serve you best, we'll get to know your unique needs and expectations. Urgent oral health concerns, like pain or a broken tooth, will be addressed right away.

We want to make your experience comfortable from the moment you arrive. When you’re waiting for your appointment to begin, you can take a seat on one of our soft chairs or couches, enjoy a refreshment, and choose a show on our television. With our air fresheners and water fountain, we’re confident you’ll feel relaxed and at ease in our calming atmosphere.
We Don’t Rush Your Care
We ask each new patient to please reserve approximately 90 minutes for your first visit with us. First, we will take a set of x-rays to provide a comprehensive view of your entire mouth, including the roots of your teeth and your jawbones. A periodontal exam will follow to evaluate your gum health and to screen for gum recession. If your gums have no swelling or deep pockets, we will continue with a preventive cleaning.
Finally, Dr. Schlobohm will determine whether you need any type of restorative treatment, answer any questions you may have about our additional services, and he’ll even show you the findings of our high resolution intraoral camera!
