Dental Implant Placement

Missing one or more teeth? Dr. Schlobohm specializes in permanent tooth restoration using dental implants!

Dental implants offer long-lasting and natural-looking results by using titanium posts implanted into the jawbone where luminous crowns can then be attached. They also require no dietary restrictions and are built to last for life.

We offer the following dental implant systems:

  • Single Dental Implants
  • All-on-4®
  • Implant-Retained Overdentures (similar to All-on-4®)
  • Hybrid Dental Implants
  • Hybridge Dental Implants
  • Mini Implants
  • Overdentures

Frenectomy

A frenectomy is a simple procedure that can help young patients who experience a reduced range of motion of their lips or tongue or a gap between their teeth caused by a frenum, a piece of connective tissue that joins two areas together. If one frenum or multiple frena are too tight or small, the patient may not have proper range of motion for your tongue and lips, or it might push teeth out of alignment. Dr. Schlobohm can use a frenectomy to correct these concerns and restore your child's functional smile.

Root Canal Therapy

woman smiling before a root canal procedure at Schlobohm DentalRoot canal treatment is performed to remove infected areas of the soft, inner section of the tooth, also known as the pulp. When these areas become infected, it can cause significant pain, and eventual death of the entire tooth. A root canal allows for proper healing and further strengthening of the tooth.

Schlobohm Dental works to detect when root canal therapy is needed early on — to stop an infection in its tracks before it has the chance to spread to the rest of the body. After treating the infection, Dr. Schlobohm will top off the tooth with a luminous, natural-looking dental crown. Our crowns are fabricated in-house, and usually can be completed in an hour!

Tooth Extractions

Tooth extractions can be performed in an emergency procedure after trauma or injury, or to prevent a future problem, such as with wisdom teeth removal.

Dr. Schlobohm provides extractions for patients who are experiencing pain and discomfort or have an infection caused by a tooth that is damaged beyond repair. In some cases, a surgical extraction may be required, but simple extractions are also performed if the tooth appears above the gum line. Before any extraction, Schlobohm will administer a dental exam and take digital x-rays to determine the extent of the damage.
